Maui Health Career Fair offers individualized career guidance : Maui Now

Maui Health will host a Maui Healthcare Career Fair on Friday, Sept. 13, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the main lobby of Maui Memorial Medical Center in Wailuku.

On the heels of two highly successful recruitment events held previously this year, Maui Health will again offer applicants personalized career guidance and the opportunity to secure a same-day interview with hiring managers and department leaders.

“We have found a way to make the application process as simple and streamlined as possible for people interested in working with Maui Health,” said HR Director Tara Cole. “This year, we have had many applicants leave our career fairs with exciting job offers, making our recruitment events very different from others. We want to remove some of the delays in traditional hiring practices and support applicants throughout the entire process.”

This individualized approach ensures that recruiters can take the time to learn more about each applicant and match them with job openings based on their skills, experience, passions, and potential growth opportunities. Qualified pre-screened applicants are provided a same-day interview, which may lead to an on-the-spot job offer.

Anyone interested in a career in healthcare is encouraged to stop by. Many positions require little to no experience. Computers will be available for those who need assistance with the application process, and Maui Health Human Resources staff will be available to answer questions. Complimentary valet parking is available at the main hospital entrance.

To qualify for a same-day interview at the upcoming career fair, interested individuals should apply online before Sept. 13, then email [email protected] to request an interview time slot. For individuals who need help with the online application process, Maui Health’s Human Resources Office will be open for walk-in application assistance Monday – Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., from Sept. 4–12.
