In a significant step towards empowering students, fresh graduates, and job seekers within the Indian community in Qatar, the Indian Community Benevolent Forum (ICBF) has launched ICBF Career Connect in association with CIGI, a professional career guidance initiative aimed at helping individuals make informed and confident career decisions.

Designed to address the growing need for structured career counselling, ICBF Career Connect offers individual, one-on-one career guidance sessions led by experienced professionals from CIGI. The initiative focuses on critical areas such as employability enhancement, skill development, career planning, and aligning individual strengths with suitable career pathways.

With rapid changes in the global job market and increasing competition across sectors, many students and job seekers often find themselves uncertain about their next steps. Recognising this challenge, ICBF has partnered with CIGI to provide personalised, practical, and professional guidance, ensuring participants receive clarity and direction tailored to their aspirations and capabilities.

The counselling sessions are conducted at regular intervals to ensure accessibility and continuity. The scheduled sessions are held on the second Friday of every month from 2 pm to 4 pm and on the fourth Saturday from 5 pm to 7 pm at the ICBF office.

The upcoming session is scheduled for Friday, January 9, 2026, from 2 pm to 4 pm and is expected to benefit a wide range of participants, including school and college students exploring higher education options, fresh graduates entering the workforce, and job seekers seeking career transitions or upskilling opportunities.

Importantly, this initiative is completely free of cost, reflecting ICBF’s continued commitment to community welfare and youth empowerment. Participation is strictly by prior appointment, ensuring focused and meaningful interactions between counsellors and participants.

Interested individuals are encouraged to book their slots in advance by contacting 5585 4543 or 7046 2114.

Through ICBF Career Connect, ICBF and CIGI reaffirm their shared vision of nurturing informed, confident, and future-ready individuals. The initiative stands as a valuable platform for those seeking guidance, clarity, and support in building a brighter and more focused future.
